Hi, I'm Omega!
I am a performer and instructor of raqs sharqi (bellydance) and samba no pé (Brazilian samba) based in Seattle, Washington, USA. I am originally from Florida and have had the good fortune of studying and performing both here in the USA and abroad.
While my focuses are raqs sharqi and Afro-Brazilian dances, I also have several years of training in Hawaiian hula and some training in Ori Tahiti. I have prioritized studying with native instructors since I am a guest in all the dance forms that I love.
I love to share the joy of dance with anybody and everybody. I believe that dance is one of the most powerful ways that human beings can connect, heal, and grow.
As someone that didn’t grow up with dance classes and only started studying as an adult, I am passionate about helping other adults find their way to joyful movement and connecting to cultures through the arts. It’s never too late to start!
